Is anyone else having a problem receiving TV pictures in the last two week mainly on the ITV channels.
At first I thought it was the adverse conditions but it's not getting better and now BBC is being affected.

Have you noticed any fine trees coming in to leaf or fruit in the last two weeks ?? Check on the system diagnostics to see what you signal strength and quality are (should be roughly 50% strength, 80% quality or better). HD channels will suffer first in bad weather - hard rain onto your dish and leaves/fruit blowing across the dishes field of view are common reasons!!

Sounds odd, but just check for wasps nests this time of year, we've had them return to the LNB casing at the end of the disk. Fine during the day but caused loss of signal in the evenings! Unfortunately you may have to wait for some heat before they venture out!

We completely lost BBC1 and itv1 the other week. All other channels were fine.
We have a big oak tree that does affect the signal. My husband has moved the dish to the end of a new extension he is building to hopefully miss the oak tree.
All the channels again were fine apart from bbc and itv.
He tweeked the lmb and it seems fine now.
Good luck.

I SPOKE TOO SOON. OUR TELE HAS BEEN BREAKING UP AROUND 10PM THE LAST 2 NIGHTS, JUST SO MY HUSBAND MISSES THE END OF THE FOOTBALL.
IT ONLY SEMS TO BE BBC AND ITV CHANNELS THE OTHERS ARE NOT AFFECTED.
IS THIS HAPPENING TO ANYONE ELSE?????????

Sounds like when you moved the dish it has become a tiny bit out of alignment - this will cause some channels to be "stronger" than others in some conditions. Does he have a proper tuning meter?
Are you sky or freeview?

No to the metre and yes to Sky. ( we also have an old sky card hense just freeview in the bedroom ) It happens to both tv's at same time.
David wondered if it was anything to do with the edf signal that turns on the water heater at 10pm each night.

Steve.
There are many different times for the signal to be sent, depends on what you have agreed with EDF, for HC & HP.
You could always put the water heater to the manual setting to satisfy your doubts.

Why is it that everyone else seems to miss the important pieces in these postings?
Is it really only me? Do I always have to ask the important questions??

Apparently, it is only you, asking the important questions that your years of "serving" and "protecting" have obviously given you an insight into
