Hi,
I bought some quite recently from Intermarché - they were in the cardboard stands(usually items under 5euros) near the fish counter.

Having read this post, I was overwhelmed by an irrational need for a Cider lolly! I used to love them and haven't had one for years. However, I couldn't find one anywhere!!
It may be because of political correctness of something, but a Cider lolly seems to have disappeared from the shelves in the UK.

You are right there...though you used to be able to get them from the Ice cream vans...noticed there was someone dangling a suggestion of doing just that before he was told in no uncertain terms that he wouldnt be welcome!
I remember a trip to Devon...many years ago and visiting Burgh Island..where they sold gin and tonic lollies...amazingly wonderful.....! love the cider ones...but though I love a beer...dont think that would work too well do you?

| on the (very) rare occasions we have wine left over - I freeze it into ice cubes and use in cooking. Ther's never any Montbazillac left though!

Yes, I do remember banana lollies, but it's a long time since I've had those LadyChef. Actually, Steve, a Monbazillac lolly sounds interesting, but probably too sweet! Nothing in my view can beat a good old Magnum Caramel - a treat I only allow myself on rare occasions, usually at the night market! Must make sure I keep going every week

I always thought alcohol seperated out from wine if you froze it! Obviously I am wrong.
Has anyone tried freezing dessert grapes and then sucking them (individually)? Delicious!
